What does "Think Green" really mean?
We like to define "Think Green" as an environmental movement - not just a state-of-mind, but a diverse scientific, social, and political movement for addressing the concerns of environmentalism.
In general terms, environmentalists advocate the sustainable management of resources and stewardship of the natural environment through changes in public policy and individual behavior.
In its recognition of humanity as a participant in (not enemy of) ecosystems, the movement is centered around ecology, health, and alternative (ecologically-friendly) power sources, including (but not limited to) solar and wind.
Which raises the question: "why does the world wide web (a.k.a the internet) need to consider environmentalism? The internet doesn't pollute the earth, right?"
WRONG!
In fact, it pollutes the environment more than you could imagine. Learn why here.
